Düzköy, which is a district of the city of Trabzon, has the local name 'Haçka'. The settlement was made a parish in 1944. While it is connected to Akçaabat district, it has achieved the status of a district by law. It is located in the Castle neighborhood, 4KM from the district center. Gölköy Castle is built on a fairly large and wide rock mass, its height is 150 M. The castle has been built in a way that is suitable for defense by having single-door observation points with wide area dominance. There is a cylindrical bastion and a watchtower on the left side of the castle entrance. It was included in the list of World Ancient Monuments by UNESCO in 1997.
