Only the person(s) named in the rental agreement and vehicle handover form may drive the rented vehicle. No damage coverage shall apply to any accident or damage caused while the vehicle is driven by an unauthorised third party.
To add another driver, the "additional driver" service must be purchased at one of our branches. A maximum of 3 additional drivers may be registered per vehicle. The additional driver must also meet the age and licence requirements for the relevant vehicle class.
Vehicles are rented on the basis of 24 hours per day and 30 days per month. Reservations made through our website are intended for in-city touristic rentals.
Total available mileage varies according to the number of rental days, with a limit of 300 km for single-day rentals and a monthly maximum of 3,500 km. The total available kilometres are communicated to the customer at the contract stage.
Any excess mileage is charged at 10 ₺ (VAT included) per kilometre.

Fuel costs during the rental period are the responsibility of the renter. ECOCAR applies a fair usage policy based on the return at the same fuel level principle. The vehicle must be returned at the same fuel level as at pickup. If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, the missing fuel cost plus a refuelling service fee will be charged. No refund is given for excess fuel left in the tank; therefore, please return the vehicle at the same fuel level as when you received it.
All traffic fines during the rental period are the renter's responsibility. This includes all toll (OGS/HGS) charges, bridge and motorway fees, and incorrect toll gate usage. Fines notified to our company after the rental period will also be invoiced to the renter.
Our prices include VAT. The rental fee, additional products/services and deposit are collected at the start of the rental.
Accepted payment methods: credit card, debit card, bank transfer/EFT and cash. Payment may be made in TRY or in foreign currency calculated at the Central Bank buying rate on the date of payment.
A deposit equal to three times the rental fee is collected at vehicle handover. The deposit is charged as a credit card pre-authorisation or via other accepted payment methods.
The deposit refund process begins once the vehicle is returned undamaged and complete. Refunds are processed within 14 business days of the return date. Actual refund timing may vary depending on the processing times of banks and payment institutions.
If cancelled on the same day the reservation was made, a full refund is provided. For detailed cancellation and refund terms, please refer to the rental agreement.
A valid class B driving licence is required. Minimum licence duration varies by vehicle segment:

Both domestic and international driving licences are accepted. The licence number must be provided during the rental process.

Vehicles may not be taken outside of Turkey without the written consent of the vehicle owner.
